Where did you go on your honeymoon? Did you go on your honeymoon right after you were married, or did you wait? (For those not married yet, where do you dream of going for your honeymoon?)
JS and I were just discussing this issue this past weekend. We don't know if we'll be able to honeymoon right away, but hope to have one within the first year. He's going to have to take a big chunk of time off to come up here for the wedding, and then move me down to his house. His family is planning on being here for a week (for the wedding), and I'm sure the moving will take a good 4 days.
I really don't care where we go for the honeymoon. Having said that, I've always dreamed about laying on white sandy beaches with my new hubby. So hopefully that can be incorporated :-)
We are going to New Zealand after our wedding next May. Can't wait! We wanted to go some place a lot of couples don't normally go yet still be at the beach

ReplyDeleteI love these questions! We didnt get to go on honeymoon with the deployment and immigration BUT we are taking one next Christmas. We will take time off to get married again next summer and then save up leave again and go to the maldives for ten days in december 2011....oh and we will leave Baby Girl with my parents in London and take the honeymoon by ourselves!
ReplyDeleteSo exotic! I wanted to cruise, my husband's employer wouldn't give him any time off. However, my husband had other plans and booked our honeymoon to fabulous Las Vegas! Pardon my enthusiasm....woohoo. We'll be married 10 years in 2014 so we'll have to take our honeymoon to some place amazing then!
